Our Story
Tressler & Associates, PLLC was founded with a sincere spirit and focused vision: to inspire compassion in both business and in the community. We believe true civic duty goes beyond our job descriptions – it reaches out and finds where there is a need. This is where our story begins.
Early in his law career, founder and CEO Todd Tressler II realized the legal profession had strayed far from its original purpose. What began as a respected civic service had become more concerned with social status, costs and outcomes. This revealed a need in the community for an approachable legal experience rooted in faith, love and gratitude.
On November 23, 2009, in honor of his family legacy in the real estate industry, Todd founded Tressler & Associates, PLLC with a purpose to restore compassion, service and honor to the profession he loved for the community he called home. That day marked the 100th anniversary of his family’s real estate business and a new chapter for the next generation.
Since its inception, Tressler & Associates has remained committed to being different from traditional law firms. We believe in providing legal services you can understand and being a team you can trust. We share a true passion for making a difference in the lives of others, and our mission keeps us united and focused on making everyday full of meaning and purpose.
Now into our fourteenth year, Tressler & Associates has thriving practices in real estate law, business law and estate planning. We provide approachable legal services to businesses, families and real estate professionals across the state of Tennessee and throughout the US.
Our approach is different from traditional law firms. We take the time to understand your needs and unique situation before taking any transactional steps, and we offer flat fees and bundled services to reduce your concern of financial commitment.
The Tressler & Associates team consists of two attorneys, seven experienced professionals and two friendly pups. Together, we work to ensure every client receives the highest standard of legal expertise and care. You are the reason we do what we do. 1909 – A legacy in real estate
Founder and CEO Todd A. Tressler, II, grew up in the real estate industry. Todd gained a deep understanding of the industry from his grandfather and parents.

2009 – A new chapter for the next generation
On November 23, 2009 in honor of his family legacy in the real estate industry, attorney and CEO Todd A. Tressler, II founded Tressler & Associates, PLLC. That day marked the 100th anniversary of his family’s real estate business.

2011 – New growth and a new home
After two years in business the growing Tressler team moved into their newly constructed headquarters located in the heart of Lebanon, TN.

2014 – New locations
On December 1st we opened our second location in nearby Mt. Juliet, TN. The team grew to 24 team members, including 5 attorneys.

2017 – Adjusting to thrive
Like many business owners, managing rapid growth can be a challenge. We used these moments to learn and make the necessary adjustments to better serve our clients and the community.

2020 – Redefining the vision
The pandemic offered our firm an opportunity to reshape and redefine our priorities. Taking a step back positioned us to step forward into our future with confidence.

Todd’s vision to remain different from other law firms led us to launch bundled services that affirm our commitment to providing approachable legal services that accelerate the success of others.
